   ######## SQL PATCHES INSTALLATION ######## 

1. Install SQL Patches you will find inside the file : INSTALLATION_PC_CONFIGURATOR_SQL PATCHES.sql.txt
   
   There are some more instructions inside the file. Open the file with any good text editor.



   ######## UPLOADING FILES ########

2. Upload carefully all files you will find in extracted zip archive to the corresponding folders in your server.

   As for the folder "pc_configurator" which contains 3 files, upload it directly to folder catalog(shop)/includes.

   As it's a new folder there is no override or conflict.
   


   ######## CONFIGURATION SETTINGS ########

3. Now go to Admin and Make all needed changes :

    - In Admin -> Configuration -> PC Configurator Basic      BASIC SETTINGS

    - In Admin -> Tools -> PC Configurator info               PRODUCE POPUP WINDOWS

   
   You will find detailed instructions for every configuration.



   ######## ADDING OR COPYING PRODUCTS ########

4. Go to Admin -> Catalog -> Categories/Products and find the category "PC Configurator Options" with id 28100 . 

   This category and all of it's 28 subcategories has been created "automatically" by SQL Patches. 

   

   IF you have already products in your shop that fit to any of these categories and you want to use 
   
   them for PC Configurator just copy them ( duplicate NOT LINK !!! ) to the desired categories (id 28101 - id 28128), 

   ELSE just start inserting your products into these categories. 

   If you have a full structure with products in your shop, computer and peripheral related, then you will not want

   to change the status of category named "PC Configurator Options" to ON because there, is where you are going to

   copy all of your products to use them for PC Configurator so you don't want your products to show "duplicated" in
   
   the shop.

   If you have a NEW Zen Cart installation CHANGE the status of category "PC Configurator Options" to show in your shop.
   
   There you can add all of your computer and peripheral related products which they are going to show also in 
   
   PC Configurator.


   BE CAREFULL, DO NOT RENAME ANY OF THESE CATEGORIES INSIDE CATEGORY "PC Configurator Options" ELSE PC CONFIGURATOR WILL
   NOT WORK.
